About the project
This is a concept design created to showcase my approach to building websites for therapy practices and somatic healing professionals—spaces where feeling safe matters just as much as looking professional.
Embrace Wellness Co. represents the type of client I love working with—practitioners who need a digital space that feels as calming and intentional as the work they do. Imagine a New York-based practice offering somatic sessions, therapy, and holistic healing. They need a website that mirrors the comfort clients feel in session—grounded, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
The design challenge was to create a site that feels rooted in comfort and support while maintaining professional credibility. Using my custom design package with a 3-4 week timeline, every choice was intentional: soft, earthy tones and mindful white space to create calm, clean navigation to reduce overwhelm, and dedicated pages that make it simple for visitors to learn about the team, explore services, and take the next step.
I designed with minimalism and strategy in mind—starting with a clean header that doesn't overwhelm, then creating an intuitive flow for both new visitors and returning clients to find exactly what they need.
This concept also demonstrates the integrations I recommend for therapy practices: scheduling systems like Acuity, email marketing connections, and Google Maps integration for easy discoverability and social proof through reviews.
